Description

Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6 L with an unbelievable 17,000 miles! Immaculate rear arches in original condition, no rust at all and have never been replaced or painted! in superb condition for its age, owned for a few years, but shes going to waste, and have slimmed down my 80s collection, recent cambelt, four new tyres, all original etched glass, orignal wheel trims, original Ilminster Vauxhall dealer number plates, bought from a local garage due to a family bereavement, who have ensured me the mileage was genuine, there are some bits of paperwork that all point in the right direction, they lightly recommissioned it mechanically, but then just left it, and it then came in to my ownership, I gave it a full hot underside wash, detailed it, and applied a thin but thorough coat of waxoil to the rear inner archers to keep them preserved, yes being an F plate there are some minor areas of improvement to be worked on, depending on what level of condition you are after, it presents itself extremely well as the pictures show, there is a couple of tiny blisters on a door frame, a supermarket dink low down on the drives door and lower wing, and the odd bit of age reflecting patina under the bonnet, it has had two tiny patches of welding in the past on the inner front wheel arch wells, other than that, immaculate arches, boot floor, cills, you name it, it is rust free, it starts, runs, drives and stops, heaters all work, there is an S symbol with the cog flashing on the dash, but after being stood for so many years, shes excused, there has been a resident mouse at some point who has taken a few nibbles out of the rear bench, all adds character, find another one, let alone in this condition, any inspection welcome, a lovely entry level classic., Power-assisted Steering (PAS); Safety Belt Pretensioners
