A PA/Support worker is required to work with a young boy with complex health needs in Sunbury, Hours: 26-32 hours per week, plus 1 weekend per week, Wage salary: £14-£17 per hour depending on experience, Driving license required (automatic for use on duty), A bubbly, caring natured support worker would be best suited to this role. Currently, the young boy is home schooled three times a week and on the other days, you will be involved in supporting his activities (sensory, art and reading). This role would suit someone with early learning experience or someone who is creative and able to come up with new ideas. This young 9 year old lad enjoys going for walks in summer so the role would suit someone who is active and enjoys the outdoors., About this young boy:, He is a happy, loving, easy going 9 year old boy with a fun personality. He has complex health needs which are mainly to do with his Respiratory health. He requires oxygen day and night and suctioning. He is PEG fed, non-verbal and in a wheelchair. He needs full support in all aspects of his life., Family / Pets: 2 puppies & 12 year Chihuahua, 6 year old brother and mum lives in the home, Essential: Manual handling using a ceiling track hoist, Start date: ASAP, Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am-11:00am / 3:00pm-7:00pm, Job Role: You will be working alongside a main carer to support Rafael with all aspects of his care needs including personal care, manual handling, administering medication, preparing his PEG feeds. This role would be ideal for someone lively, energetic, bubbly and with a sense of humour. Rafael and his family need someone willing to help in any way possible.
