I enjoy going to the woods, out for walks, soft play, swimming and going to the beach., A rewarding and enjoyable role, you will be fun-loving, kind, compassionate and understanding of my needs at all times., A driver with access to their own vehicle essential., Candidate qualities:, Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality, Reliable with good timekeeping, Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative, Hygienic, tidy and well organised, Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties, Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills, Honest and cheerful, Creative, Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard, Must be comfortable with pets, Able to always work to high standards of health & safety, Employee Duties:, Accompany child to access social and leisure activities, including walks, swimming, soft play, the woods, park and beach, Ensure child’s safety at all times, Be aware of surroundings at all times and prepared to take quick action should child suddenly run off, taking particular care near roads, Effectively communicate with child to understand his needs at all times, Drive child in your own car to activities, Assist with getting child in/out of car and putting seat belt on, Apply safety locks on car doors, Assist with getting onto the bus (where applicable), Book onto activities, pay entrance fees (the cost of which will be covered), Order drinks and snacks at activities, Help with personal care as required, for example assisting to get changed at swimming pool etc., Any other reasonable tasks, Additional requirements, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required., Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives.
