Starting as soon as possible, you'll work alongside dedicated educators, engaging with pupils and shaping the next generation., Our partnership school's care for and nurture pupils with social emotional and mental health needs, moderate learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, profound multiple learning difficulties, hearing impairment and visual impairment. We work with schools in both Primary and Secondary settings, so you will be working with pupils aged 3-16 years old., We are looking for teaching assistants who are familiar with SEND environments and have engaging and nurturing personalities. Familiarity with the national Key Stage Curriculum, an understanding of child development and learning, excellent communication skills, empathy, adaptability, patience, resilience and dedication to promoting equal opportunities are the key qualities we look for in our teaching assistants., Responsibilities of the role include:, Ensuring student safety and facilitating access to learning activities., Contributing to education and behaviour plans., Encouraging inclusivity and embracing diversity., Setting high expectations for student achievement., Providing feedback on student progress., Upholding child protection policies., Assisting with supervision outside of class. Qualifications & Requirements:, Previous experience in teaching support., Proficiency in spoken and written English., Right to work in the UK.
