If so, HM Land Registry (HMLR) have a fantastic opportunity to join the Finance and Business Services (FaBS) Directorate as a Senior Executive Analyst., In this role you will use your expertise to help deliver a strong analytical and modelling function to champion the use of data to drive continuous improvement across HMLR. By working effectively with the G7 Team Lead and leadership at all levels of the organisation, you will act as a sub-team lead in developing management information systems and providing high quality analytical/modelling insight to support delivery for a specific sub area or small directorate of the organisation (such as HR, continuous improvement or transformation benefits) in order to aid senior decision-making that will drive continuous improvement and behavioural change., *Job description*, Supported by a highly engaged senior team, in both roles you will use your expertise to provide analytical insight for your sub area. This will done by developing high quality management information systems, or through statistical analysis and modelling., You will build on existing work in the analytical space. You will make full use of existing data and develop new data flows to provide high quality analytical/modelling insight, champion analytical best practice by utilising different analytical/modelling techniques and helping establish a strong QA culture, and utilise your understanding of different data structures and relevant programming skills to interact effectively with the MI database., Acting as the senior analyst for complex analytical/modelling relating to a specific area, you will provide high quality insight to a variety of stakeholders, ensure projects are well managed and fully documented; prioritising urgent tasks appropriately whilst managing stakeholder expectations, and communicate analysis and its context with impact to different (often non-analytical) audiences., You will also be responsible for leading and developing your highly skilled analytical sub-team, ensuring growth with demand and that they have the right skills and tools to deliver high quality analytical/modelling insight. You will prioritise high profile work tasks that will get the best value for your sub-team and support other sub-teams with their workload., For more information, please see the Vacancy Description in the attached Candidate Pack., *Person specification*, To be successful in this role you must have relevant skills, knowledge and application of Operational Research (OR) techniques and/or relevant qualifications to allow ‘badging’ to join GORS (Government Operational Research Service) in an analytical profession. You will have experience of developing and presenting analytical/modelling insights with impact to support operational, strategic or policy decisions., There are two roles available.
