It's especially good for someone who likes to go off-road or cross country now and again. A limited top speed (max 47mph) is easily made up for by *terrific* acceleration and acute 'nippiness'. It's very cheap to run: road tax exempt, can be charged on low tariff electricity and is reasonably cheap to insure (£170pa for me). I tend to charge it once battery level gets below 50% in which case it takes about an hour to charge from household mains. Options to customise it are immense and a large selection of inexpensive parts are available., , I have customised the bike to make it more friendly for road-use.
