Benefits: · 401(k) & matching · Health & Life Insurance · Voluntary Dental & Vision Insurance · Paid Sick Time · Vacation & Paid Time Off · Paid Holidays · Professional Development Assistance · Quarterly Performance Bonus · Company Social Events & Lunches Desired Qualifications: · Post Judgment Experience is a plus · ABA Certified Paralegal is a plus · Typing 60+ wpm minimum · Excellent proofreading & formatting skills · Deadline and detail-oriented · Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-pace environment · Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Adobe programs · Positive attitude and sense of humor is a must Desired Responsibilities: · Law and motion experience (drafting pleadings, including declarations & propounding discovery) · Conduct research to support legal proceedings · Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes · Drafting and reviewing of legal documents (needs to be detailed) · Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations · Record and store client information electronically · Ability to work well with a wide variety of personalities, on the phone and in person, including court clerks, sheriff’s offices, and clients · Ability to work independently or in a team environment, supporting multiple team members · Filing pleadings, including e-filing, in both in state and federal courts This is a full-time, in-person position. We offer a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
