The Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi) is a plant beloved during the winter season. It is June and the plant is flush with bold blooms. The fleshy segmented stems of the plant are flattened leaves and slightly serrated on each side. This plant has consistently, year after year given a terrific abundance of blooms. This plant is well established and busting at the seams beautiful!. I have nurtured it to be happy and healthy. The plant spreads 17" x 17 wide and drapes down one side of the container. The container is in perfect form and  has a basket weave on its surface. Its mouth is 11" wide and is 8" tall. My plants are healthy and happy because I use only natural fertilizer (fish emulsion) and grown in organic soil with worm castings. I use egg shells for calcium and minerals. You will not be importing toxins into your environment. It sits in shade with passing sun and will thrive indoors next to a window or glass door.
